The Zumiez Swap 'n' Shop is a new, yet familiar, retail experience. You bring in your used things and swap up to new better things. Of course its not really about the dollar value of your item as much as the pitch and backstory you have along with it. The first Swap 'n' Shop experience took place in Phoenix, AZ in 2019. As creative lead on this project I was responsible for branding, creative assets, and developing the actual experience. I even got to do some voice-over work for a radio ad.
One of the main tools to promote the experience was this risograph printed zine that helped explain how everything works. I designed the zine and wrote all the copy. Photo credit here goes to Risolve Studio who printed the books.
